From March 2009 Fox News: After researching this possibility for quite some time it is estimated they say that if we were hit by something like this it could knock our power out anywhere from a few months to 4 years! I couldn`t imagine a city like New York or LA with 20 million + blacked out for weeks let alone years. No power, no transportation, no food being shipped in, no hospital equipment etc... Talk about hell on earth... Then again. Maybe heaven on earth, eventually.
