Discovery News: Will Earthbound Comet Elenin Fulfill 2012 Prophecy? (Video)

It's nearly 300 million miles away and barreling toward us. The intruder from deep space, called comet Elenin, crosses Earth's orbit on its inbound leg and again on its outbound swing around the sun later this year.

Russian astronomer Leonid Elenin discovered the innocuous little comet on Dec. 10, 2010, at International Scientific Optical Network's robotic observatory near Mayhill, New Mexico.

Presently the comet is a faint smudge of light in deep sky exposures. By late August comet Elenin should be visible to the naked eye as a dim "fuzzy star" with a tail. Over a few weeks the visitor will speed across the spring constellation Virgo and toward Leo on its outbound leg.

A dizzying collection of doomsday predictions have been linked to comet Elenin. The hysteria was inevitable as anxiety grows over the approach of 2012 -- that is supposedly a game-changing year for life on Earth. At least according to some interpretations of the ancient Mayan calendar.

Note ReconEarth: So now what to believe? This is why I always say DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH on Comet Elenin and for anything else for that matter. As for me, I always go with what I can prove for myself then apply common sense. Which is, every time that official NASA animation, on that official NASA website, aligns that so called Comet Elenin with Earth. We get a devastating earthquake, possible tsunami and pole shift. That's just what we have heard about. Why do you think the sun rose two days early in Greenland this year? It's never happened in recorded history. I'm thinking there has been a physical pole shift, not a magnetic pole shift. What could do that?

I take that and then ask myself, would the powers that be tell us about this? If so when? If you were in charge would you tell the world of a possible E.L.E. a year from now? Six months? A month? Honestly, though you may not agree, I wouldn't tell you at all if I had a real good plan to divert it or let's just say remove the possibility of danger.

If I couldn't and I knew it would cause serious problems? I would give you about 6-8 weeks notice. Let's face it. Once the world governments made the world aware. All infrastructures would begin to collapse that very day. Talk about potential hell on Earth. Whether it was a month, six months or a years notice.

So with any credible website or main stream media broadcast telling me their thoughts on Elenin or anything for that matter I'll always listen to what they have to say. It doesn't mean I agree with it though.

After all what does it really cost me to prepare the best I can? To have peace of mind for my family, other loved ones and be ready? A couple hundred dollars? A thousand dollars for extra food, water and medical supplies. Do you buy car insurance? Do you buy life insurance? Do you buy home insurance? Do you think any of those type of insurance policy's could ever help you the day of a so called natural disaster? If nothing happens at all at least I get to trade out, eat or use what I have stored. You may never get your money back or cash in on those traditional type policies but yet you still buy them. It's win win to me.

May 9,2011 - AccuWeather.com Comet Elenin to Come Close to Earth this Fall http://bit.ly/lqq55o "It will not influence us in any way here on Earth." said Don Yeomans of NASA's Near-Earth Object Program Office at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.

When this so called comet was first discovered in December 2010 last year it was calculated that it would pass 8.8 Au (8.8 times the distance of the Sun from us) away. Now today the orbital calculation is down to 0.24 Au with a minimum as l...ow as 0.15. This is being re-calculated all the time and could get even closer but it depends what it encounters in the Oort belt.

Our Moon is 0.00256 Au from us to give you a comparison. 1 Au is the distance from earth to the sun, approx 93 million miles.

You should be aware that this comet could bring debris with it and on today's projected path we will pass through the debris trail – if one exists.

Important things/dates to remember:

At this point apparently no one knows exactly how big this thing is. I search for that answer every day. It`s foreseen path will always change as it is studied and gets closer. If it was a planet such as Nibiru (planet of the crossing) or a comet that was going to impact us and the powers that be knew this now, do you tell the public? If so, when? How much time do you give them, if any? Just something to keep in mind.

Feb 27 2010: The first time the Earth was between Elenin and our sun we had an 8.8 earth quake in Chile and an apparent 3 degree pole shift. I personally checked on the earthquake and Elenins position and verified this.

Sept. 3 2010: The Earth and Mercury was aligned with the sun, on the opposite side of the sun also aligned, you guessed it, Comet Eleinin (if you want to call it that). On this date was a 7.0 mag earthquake on the South side, New Zealand.

March 11 2011: The Earth was 2-3 days from perfect alignment with Elenin and we had a 9.0 Mega quake, a Tsunami in Japan and on parts of California's shoreline, a 4 degree pole shift and Japan move i've read between 12- 17 feet. Personally i believe so far the most effective times and when Elenin is the biggest threat has been just as it moves in and out of alignment, just like it did on the 11th.

April 4 2011: Mercury and Elenin will be on the same side and in alignment with the sun. With NASA Messenger now in place we might see some effects on Mercury.

April 19 2011: If you check this date out you will see Elenin is aligned with Mars each on opposite sides of the sun and to me what sort of makes the alignment even more interesting is Earth , Mercury and Venus are all on the same side. Maybe it's nothing but I thought it might be worthy to note.

May 22 2011: Elenin aligned with Venus opposite from the sun. I`m thinking something may happen with Mars around now but closer to the 15th. Just a hunch.

May 30 2011: Elenin aligns with Mercury opposite from the sun. Keep an eye on Messenger news.

July 7 2011: Elenin aligns with Mercury same side of sun. Keep an eye on Messenger news.

September 25 2011: This is when the comet will align between us and the sun with Mercury on the opposite side of the sun. We will also possibly be getting hit by Elenins tail. Elenin will be extremely close to the Earth according to today's projected path. I have read that you also will be able to see it with your naked eye very well in the northern hemisphere crossing before the sun a week or so before and after the said date. By this time we will know for sure of any effects, if any.

October 17 2011: We will be as close as were going to get to Elenin, on today's projected path it will be as close as 0.232au.

November 22 2011: We align with Elenin on the same side of the sun and at only like 0.55au away. If there was to be a pole shift you would think it will happen somewhere in between September 25 and November 25. If you see December 2011, count your blessings and pray for everyone else.

Folks, all, if any effects and dates stated here by me are pure speculation and common sense. However according to NASA officials Elenin is real, it`s path is real, the NASA website is official and can be found here and every time the animation lines up that coment or planet with Earth something bad happens, that's all i know for sure. You can say it`s all bs that the object isn't real or what ever you choose to think. For me, there is enough evidence to prepare as best i can for some history making events come late September 2011 and beyond. Better safe than sorry.

Note Recon Earth:  I`ve seen a lot of these type videos popping up more and more on youtube and around the web. I smiled again when i seen this one because it would seem more and more people really are beginning to awaken. I`ve been preaching for months to my... mother about this. Speaking from personal experience i can positively assure you something is going on.

My current working theory is we are slowly awakening, evolving to a collective consciousness. Personally i`m really looking forward to it because it will over night eliminate so many things i despise about today's human. For instance sarcasms, lies, deceit, hate, fear, war, murder, crime, rape , betrayal, ignorance... all said and done your pretty much your just left with love, friendship, understanding and complete awareness of everything.

I believe we are headed there. I believe we have been trying for quite some time. When i think back to when man first started chiseling pictures of women on cave walls to books to news papers to radio to TV to the internet. What were we really trying to achieve? Where did we want to head for? Collective consciousness. So, if the Mayan calendar says life as we know it will end around 12/21/12 and a new era of humanity will begin... wouldn't collective consciousness qualify as exactly that? Just a thought.

Approaching space object 'artificial, not asteroid' says NASA

NASA boffins report that an unknown object approaching the Earth from deep space is almost certainly artificial in origin rather than being an asteroid.

Object 2010 KQ was detected by the Catalina Sky Survey in Arizona earlier this month, and subsequently tracked by NASA's asteroid-watching service, the Near-Earth Object Program headquartered at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California.

According to the NASA experts:

Observations by astronomer S J Bus, using the NASA-sponsored Infrared Telescope Facility in Mauna Kea, Hawaii, indicate that 2010 KQ's spectral characteristics do not match any of the known asteroid types, and the object's absolute magnitude (28.9) suggests it is only a few meters in size.

The mysterious artificial object has apparently made a close pass by the Earth, coming in almost to the distance of the Moon's orbit, and is now headed away again into the interplanetary void. The object has used no propulsion during the time NASA has had it under observation. However the spacewatch boffins believe that it must have moved under its own power at some point, given its position and velocity.

"The orbit of this object is very similar to that of the Earth, and one would not expect a [naturally occurring] object to remain in this type of orbit for very long," said Paul Chodas, a brainbox at JPL.

The experts believe that the object must be a spacecraft, or more accurately part of one - sadly not an alien visitor, though. Rather it's likely to be a booster stage from an interplanetary mission of the past, now drifting back in to Earth and out again. The next visit will probably be 2036, at which time there's a small chance that 2010 KQ will crash into the atmosphere and burn up.

Note Recon Earth: If this isn`t main stream media desensitization i don`t know what is. This is a classic contradiction in opinion for the public to read, telling you the truth then denying it. I mean look at this things path... How does it do that if it`s just some lame debris from a previous mission? Sure I can see it slowing down because of Earths gravity but then getting closer it enters and burns up in the atmosphere right?. No, it just bounces off or makes a hard left to avoid us and our atmosphere?

I`m not sure but I think this is the artificial object that author and investigative reporter Jim Marrs refers to when he says "It`s an alien probe" in one of the Project Camelot Videos.

Of course I don`t know what it is for sure but wth? By the way, don`t you just love when NASA calls things in space nothing more than an "Object". I don`t know about you but that gives me the heebie jeebies every time. lol.

New NASA Photo: A Blue Mars? Water? And The Desensitizing Continues...

This image shows part of the floor of Rabe Crater, a large impact crater in Mars' southern highlands.

Dark dunes--accumulations of wind blown sand--cover part of crater's floor, and contrast with the surrounding bright-colored outcrops. The extreme close-up view reveals a thumbprint-like texture of smaller ridges and troughs covering the surfaces of the larger dunes. These smaller ripples are also formed and shaped by blowing wind in the thin atmosphere of Mars.

One puzzling question is why the dunes are dark compared with the relative bright layered material contained within the crater. The probable answer is that the source of the dark sand is not local to this crater; rather, this topographic depression has acted as a sand trap.

Has Google Earth found the lost city of Atlantis?

GOOGLE HAS DENIED that its Google Earth project has actually found proof of the undersea city of Atlantis.

Tabloids went mental when pictures which appeared to show a huge regular grid structure off the coast of Africa deep under water.

However Google said that they were not the remains of a huge underwater city but tracks left by boat sonar.

Terrain data is often collected from boats using sonar to take measurements of the seafloor. Of course it could just be what the government wants us to think. The men in black have a huge investment in history books and having to re-write them to prop up an Ancient Greek' philosopher's allegory about the imperfection of humanity would be a bit annoying.
